STaSS (Shika Tamaa Support Service)
STaSS (Shika Tamaa Support Service) is a free, private and confidential support service caring for persons of all ages, race, gender, ethnic background, religious belief and sexual orientation, suffering from Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and related conditions caused by Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), their relatives, dependants, carers and other people affected, providing counseling, advice and support as well creating HIV/AIDS Awareness and Prevention.
STaSS' aim is to improve the Health and Social Care of People infected/affected with HIV/AIDS and reducing the stigma attached.
STaSS prioritises in awareness and the importance of Sexual Health and as such invests greatly in its promotion and education.
Formed in the UK in May 2007, STaSS is extremely proud to be the only voluntary organisation in Milton Keynes to offer all the above services.
In addition to its landmark of successes, Shika Tamaa Support Services (STaSS) is also registered and is fully operational in Ghana, West Africa under the name Shika Tamaa Foundation, also abbreviated as STaSS to provide the same services and to operate as an agent for international aid being given to Ghana.
